I think (i might be wrong here) the point is that hospitals with more covid patients get more money than hospitals with the same amount of total patients but less covid cases. I dont think it has anything to do with them dying (?)
Kinda makes sense though considering the severity of covid cases that Hospitals ( and maybe by association doctors) get paid more, because they need more equipment and do more work?
Also covid would be considered hazard pay. You want someone to deal with a deadly virus for nothing or on the cheap. The doctors try to save a life like they tried and saved the presidents life when his body couldn't handle the virus. The way trump words it as a bad thing.
