You should never click onto someone’s stream and be hit with an ad instantly. I know ublock can help, but imagine the amount of people who are losing potential viewers because of this...terrible for smaller creators to grow, and just not a good way to place ads in general.

It also ruins raids too. No one wants to raid into a channel and be hit with ads so you can't even see the streamers reaction, etc

I'm not sure honestly. Ive started opening people's streams before raiding them so the ad runs first. I saw someone else said it happened to them last night tho

Ads should be disabled during raids aka if the url link says ref=raid and it forcibly taking you to the channel. Twitch reported it as a confirmed bug and that they would fix it. I don't know if they have.

Yeah, i remember reading on twitter that they fixed it, but that was a while ago so i can't double check it
