      This means that New World will MOST LIKELY be unprofitable for Amazon, even if $250M+ in gross bookings.

      with this said, if Amazon Game Studios closed the preview build ASAP, unannounced the 2021 release date and really set a new direction for the game, it can easily (vs. any other new MMO dev, such as Krafton's Elyon) be a $1B+ game given all the resources AWS has at its disposal.

      New World is much closer than I believe AGS/Amazon thinks they are to actually disrupt the MMO genre (which is I believe, a $3B+ market) - L2Rev made $1b 1st year. They have ALL the building blocks to kill it. Compare the raw features of New World vs. WoW and it's clear

      I'd love to have their tech + AWS relationship. Moreover, New World can get away with its current graphics since the competition is so-so, but with UE5 coming out very soon...AGS does not have much time to get this sorted, it'll get beat on marketing optimization.

      And MMOs are somewhat zero-sum, do you see anyone playing 2 mmos at the same time? It's a winner take all genre, unlike Battle Royale
