yeah def need to get in good protein but to lose fat you have to eat at a deficit. I wouldnt go crazy with cardio but definitely keep the weight training up. The hard part is being able to tell its happening. You will be losing fat but staying the same weight at times.
I'd say it's about nutrition. Lots of proteins but in general just work at a calorie deficit. @Krashy ?

I mean it's not like you're not gaining muscle if you have a calorie deficit, but if you have a surplus then you most likely won't lose any fat, so in order to do both you have to have a deficit
