Surprised we haven't seen any analysis on OWL's viewership this season. There has been week over week decline and it's looking increasingly likely that Call of Duty League will have higher average minute audience in English this year.

40k concurrent right now. Big change from when OWL was the 3rd most-watched Twitch stream in 2019: https://sullygnome.com/2019

The YouTube system is fucking awful for livesteams as well. I search Overwatch League and the 1st result is yesterday's vod, 2nd is the Channel, 3rd is the livestream.

Seems like short sightedness from ActiBlizz. They wanted money now from Youtube at the detriment of their viewerbase and upsetting their core audience. It rly blows my mind how hard it is for people to find these streams. Youtube rly needs to fix that if they want this to pay off

Signing with YouTube was good long term. Twitch is not doing well as a platform and YouTube is on the rise. Give it a year or two and activision will look like it made a 5 Head decision

Serious question, how do you think is twitch not doing well as a platform?

That says nothing about the success of Twitch as a Platform though. These big twitch channels quickly turned into comparatively tiny channels in a matter of months. Moderation is questionable, but again it's not indicative of the success of the platform.
