I see a lot of people freaking out about a 3-2-1 lock being implemented into the game. Did Jeff not really clearly say that it was a wacky experiment that the dev team were conducting that would almost never see the light of day, or did I read a different forum post?

I agree that communication has been super sparse lately - ideally it's because they've been busy testing stuff like this (and other more viable options). I imagine most people freaking out haven't read the actual post too clearly, is all.
