By all accounts, there is. They have a discord server where they engage with the players and ask for feedback. Maybe it's not used anymore or something. But if so, I'd guess its because it led to leaked screenshots, etc.
Not sure if we're talking about the same discord but i used to be in one that had semiregular meetings but nothing ever resulted from it so it kinda just died because it felt pointless

Not sure either, since I'm a lowly podcasting pleb and don't get invited ever (correctly so). But I had heard about it like ot was OWL only. But it was all off hand mentions of it.
