Can't you apply for a ESTA or a sport visa? Basically where u just go for a set of days to do a job and then go back I have no idea how it works tho just trying to help :(
Pretty sure you're not allowed to work on an ESTA, not sure how it'd work with qualifiers and stuff though... but either way lots of trouble to go through
