Agreed but that same question arises how do they take their game and create profit from competition. It's a hard goal...look at games like OW and Cod who are investing in franchise leagues. Thats a 5-10 year goal at minimum I expect.

OW and CoD use esport as a marketing tool and while it might be having some recent success through investment and sponsorships, clearly the playerbase isn't happy about it and i'd say it's definitely not as successful as it could be, because lack of competitive design choices
Profit where? If you’re giving away 100million how do you profit? Im thinking very literally and as a non expert idk where that profit could come from. Sales of some type, merchandising, tickets?
