bland. Lots of open fields with nothing to do, and on top of that it honestly doesn't really matter what they do with the map in Fortnite, as it barely changes gameplay due to the nature of building. Old map > with the different themes across the map and exciting areas...
Apart from that, they cleaned up the loot pool alot. In general i think their idea was to go back to like the default items and add on to that in future seasons, however... There is 0 mobility items, and the only way of movement in the game is a few ziplines, rivers and a boat...
The boat compared to any other vehicle in previous seasons is also boring and bland. The ziplines are very limited. River+Swimming/Diving is cool and i like, however the directional currents are pretty annoying. Overall i honestly think people will get bored quickly.
Oh, i forgot to mention... Everyone will be running around with RPGs due to the reduction in rarity and overall narrower lootpool. The bandage shooting gun is actually pretty nice and i think it's pretty balanced as it takes 2 inventory slots :)
