Before the finals start I will bet that there will be a big discussion regarding the finals format, everyone races for 50 points and then games after that point don’t matter unless u get a win, doesn’t favor consistency at all but we will see how it goes

It can also cause confusion though , imagine the first place team having like 60 points but they won a game with like 5 kills while second place has like 80 and hasn’t gotten a win it just doesn’t seem right at all imo
After u reach 50points u cant get any more points, the only thing that matters is the win

Yes u can because the rest of the leaderboard is determined based on your points, as soon as someone wins with having 50 or more points the leaderboard stops and the second place etc is determined by your points

That’s why I’m saying someone that got 10 second places can have double the amount of points than the team that wins the tourney because they got that one win above 50 points u know ?

Easy way to avoid confusion would be once a team reaches 50 points, they are shown at 50 or match point on leaderboards. I think there is an appeal to this format from a viewers perspective. It allows for that pop off win that takes the event like CSGO, Dota, league etc

Shown as match point would be better while the points are tracked for overall leaderboard later, and then final leaderboard shows the first place team as champion, then points afterward for 2nd and on
