Regarding Controller Aim assist debate in Apex, This debate has been held in Fortnite, and my opinion is the same for Apex: Players (e.g. @Snip3down @NiceWigg ) are at the top of the controller players and would be able to compete with PC players, even with reduced aimassist.
However... In a game like Apex with such low TTK, the aim assist in the hands of a pro player like the ones mentioned is overtuned. There are situations where the aimassist helps a controller player much more than any PC player has consistency over their aim. This is...
exaggerated by the fact that aimassist is not impacted by muzzle flash, which is one of the main reasons PC players aren't able to consistently spray like the controller players are. That being said, those players being insane and AA being broken isn't a mutually exclusive thing
Just to give another example: If i pick up a controller, i'm gonna get shit on 99% of the time because i have no clue what i'm doing. However, if you put the same aimassist in the hands of your average PC player, the same thing would happen, however pros will know how to abuse it
