The way broadcasts like that work is... you fetch a signal from each pc, and they feed into a hardware part that only receives/processes a specific signal (specific exact resolution and exact FPS, often 48 or 50 fps) therefore there's no way around it.
Now obviously u can render a lower res in 1920x1080, however as already mentioned in a few tweets, they're also looking to keep the same quality in each of the pov's and dont want to broadcast stretched on tv
