I think the world cup qualifiers would of been so much better if they didnt let you play in them anymore after you qualify. What event has let you keep playing qualifiers after you made it. Just think of the times the people who were in already knocked out someone 1-2 points off.

NFL, NBA, NHL all have teams who have locked in their playoff spots some guaranteed 1-2 seeds yet they still play week 17, or game 82, or however many games they play in hockey. It’s a set amount of games you have to play regardless of standing.
Cant compare sports where theres 1team vs 1team to esports, and especially BRs where u can get hard griefed by other players with the sole intention of griefing.
