Fortnite is not the BR esport you should be aspiring to be like, and im not sure what quals you're talking about, for what? If you dont have customs youre running kill races and that is obviously not competitive
Fortnite World cup qualifiers are through the ingame system, using basically the fundamentals of ranked. I know fortnite is not what you should be striving, i quit the game for a reason... I'm saying that it currently looks like that they're looking for a clear ingame system.

Eh im all for a ranked mode but at the end of the day a comp scene is what allows a game to last in the long term and i think to really compete seriously you need a custom match system where the best in the world can practice consistently against each other, but idk if ea gets it
