I may be dumb, but why do Heavy Snipes take walls first try, regardless of ping almost always, but just swinging your pick axe and trying doesn't. I don't get it

Might be far fetched, but the sniper has bullet travel time, in which time you can swap to your build and instantly start building, additionally, the pickaxe has the hit animation and your timing to going to the blueprint isnt perfect with the pickaxe hitting the wall, whereas...
with the sniper you click and then instantly swap, making the timing on it much easier
