I think pro leagues are terrible. Much rather just stick to events.

Leagues just provide much better stability to orgs and investors/sponsors.

Well up to this point no BR league has caught traction with viewers. Hopefully if apex or fortnite try it it does better than what we have now.

No strongly active (NA/EU) BR game worked on a PL tho. Pubg does have a PL now but most of pubg playerbase is Asia (which the PL in Asia is doing amazing on their streaming services for views). FN and Apex are the only strongly active BRs in NA/EU.

That doesn't change the success of the pro league model. Just because h1pl failed and npl didn't have insane viewership doesn't deligitimize leagues like LCS, OWL, CWL etc. The numbers CAN be there and that's why it's pushed

Oh dont mistake me, im for pro leagues. Im trying to say one of the top BR games needs to get into it to show major success. Traveling left and right for events is also annoying for players, a pro league is better in that aspect.

PLs are harder on players lol. It forces a player to either be getting paid enough to quit there job or they have to quit playing. Events are much easier on players.

Just because you have a pro league doesn't mean it has to be to the scale of H1PL, I would argue that being to that scale as a BR right now IS bad for the players since it is putting a lot of faith into it working. Having an online pro league with lan's to qualify for isn't bad
