While i could agree with some of these points, making classes instead of RNG item spawns is actually a huge deal for me liking this game. I can get the type of utility i want every single game and perfect using it.

A BR for me is the fact that its an instanced game where the last survivor wins. That is not an open world shooter.

Imo, the reason all games have BR are 1) That's how it's always been (in movies, in Arma 3 BR), mostly because those examples only have weapons and nothing else seperating everyone from each other. 2) The more RNG you add, the bigger the chance worse players have to win against..

a better player. This is currently very widely known in Fortnite for example, RNG can be healthy up until a certain point but i think some games are way overdoing it
