How does a game like Atlas not be able to handle 30,000 concurrent players trying to log on with 4 available servers while at the same time claiming each server can handle 40,000 concurrent per game... Not to mention the blatant cash grab that it is (pure reskin of Ark)

Nevertheless, survival games with any promise of multiplayer perform extremely well in the current market flooded with single player experiences. Ex: Conan exiles, ark, rust, 7 days of day (aka 7 years in alpha), etc

It looks the same on ultra lol. I bought it to see their networking performance since it’s a supposed to be a “seamless 40,000 concurrent player” world

40000 with 150 per starting region so nobody can connect, GREAT IDEA

The best part is launching with 4 starting servers and then hoping people pay for their own hosting (which goes up to, as far as i can tell, 100 players max per private server).

Oh, they're hosting a content creator only server now, so all the people who bought the game that can't connect to the official server in the first place, don't see how the game is laggy af once they do, great!
