Okay groundbreaking idea here... if theres so much outcry in the community that you feel the need to make a blogpost to explain why you added a certain item to the game, chances are... the community doesn't want it, and certainly not any future renditions of it? @FortniteGame
And they don't go on reddit and say how much they love fortnite. We just don't get to see that really. It's up to epic to balance how much they want to cater to the vocal minority with (potential) loss of casual customers

I see what ur saying for sure, even though I don’t think that casual players really care what epic adds, in my personal experience, at school, they only care about skins and map changes. Competitive players can go insane with one change, like planes or the sword.

That's exactly what im saying, they don't care how op something new they add is, they only care about that one time they got a 10 kill win :D and that happens much easier with a new shiny unique sword on the map they can get their hands on maybe 1 out of 20 games by hotdroppingit
