think they're missing the part where the item itself has an issue with balancing but the biggest issue is that they introduced it the day of a tournament, i dont think anyone would have issues if it wasn't just dumped on everyone
I dont even mind adding an item the day of a tournament, if it's not so completely busted lol... If, say, the new pump was added the day of winter royale, i bet nobody would really complain, because its an item they basically already have in the game, balanced and 1/2

ready to go, (mostly) bugfree most likely and all that. But litearlly adding a whole new system which is melee combat into the game on the day of their biggest accessible tournament is a joke

well i mean its compounded right, if there was some time before the tournament where they introduced this weapon there would already be feedback about it that they could act on if they chose, but they didn't do that and dropped it in the game anyway
