Idk how to play these, hotdrop and hate my life or go for lategame where 90% players are from prac cord and no guaranteed points or 1 point for 15minutes??? this is so frustrating

So how do you adapt? Do you play for qualify only (hotdrop)? Do you risk it by playing to win and hope you can do it atleast 10 times in 3 hours? What is your plan for the next session?
Ive been going for lategame, it gets me to 24~ points consistently, maybe i'm just not good enough to go higher idk, will see im gonna do 1 session on NA so i get enough sleep for the EU sessions tomorrow :D
