I wouldn't play to finish "top 5", i would still play for lategame which is specifically the last 3 moving circles as, again, this gives the best opportunity for good players to get safe kills. Depending on your loadout, you take some midgame fights (splodes etc.) 1/2

It's not the format that's causing people to play safe. It's the fact that it's the best way to play the game.

Sorry, we will have to agree to disagree that is the best way to play the game. Spray and pray with 30 people at moving circle is not the best way to play. Nor is it exciting and keeping people tuning in. If viewers and players r pointing this out, maybe they r on 2 something.

I understand, u need 2 play the best way 2 win $. If that is playing the "long game", I get it. Its just not as fun 2 watch nor is it good for the longevity of having all of this $ up for grabs. Id rather c them adjust and put the emphasis on engagement and not cluster f' finish.

Hey man, i totally agree healoffs shouldn't be as common as they are. However i do not think that the format is the main cause of this issue. Server lag, amount of mats per player (3k max, why?) and other factors play a bigger role in this imo.

Thoughts on storm destroying builds after a certain time? I believe it was discussed b4. What impact do u think it has on final 3 zones? Good or bad 4 the game?

Well they had the storm edge destroying builds in the game before, and apart from how extremely buggy and laggy that was, it really was not enjoyable at all as a player. Basically, people on high/midground just fell onto people below them which caused random 50/50 fights in a box

I've been saying this for a while, but this would fix a lot of the issues currently in the game imo: Change max mats to 500 each, increase mat farm and maybe introduce some way of getting mats and/or resources (ammo? shields? health?) when you get a kill. Midgame fights would 1/2

become significantly more reasonable. It's just way too risky currently to take a (midgame) fight in any way other than spamming splodes on a turtled enemy and quickly ending that fight (with or without killing them) to avoid getting 3rd partie'd or wasting tons of mats.

I think to sum it up better, i would rather see changes to the game that make midgame fights more appealing and less punishing, than format changes to force endgame to be less of a factor, since the former would directly impact the latter.
