I think the new storm changes are really good for comp, the rotate is long enough that you can fight on the way and and it cuts the lobby down significantly giving players room to breathe and make plays
I honestly think it's the exact opposite. Since the zones are so slow moving now, the teams that have RNG on their side (closest side to new zone) can sit in their base and stormhold teams that get unlucky for almost a full minute as they don't have to worry about storm.

I agree about the storm gating unfortunately however it’s a BR so that kind of RNG is gonna be prevalent. I’m just a fan of how it clears up some congestion in the later moving circles. I do think there could be better options though or this could be tweaked a bit
