does twitch have any control over banning / not banning the streamers that got DMCA'd over playing that one song that we shall not mention? like can they just say "heck off we're not banning these streamers cause u guys are 12" or are they just legally forced to comply

Twitch has a list of games (because of sexual content or violence), and Persona 5 because the creators would rather have people just play the game than watch somebody else play through. Plus it came out in Japan a long time before the US so mega spoiler ban.
Okay, i didn't know about the Persona 5 thing, this is probably the only game then that disallows streaming instead of enforcing copyright claims after the fact, good guy devs :)

A little while back a few streamers were banned for streaming halo online. I don’t think it was for copyright but I may be wrong
