Why is it impossible to find mayo or salad dressing that doesn't have soy, canola or safflower oil? I checked every label! Even "keto" "organic" and "low fodmap" dressings have these inflammatory plant oils. Frustrating.pic.twitter.com/lOsp5A07jv

I’m a fan of primal kitchen as well. Soy just happened to be the cheapest thing available in the US. Sunflower seems to be used instead in Europe at least anecdotally.

Sunflower oil is popular in France as they have the same problem there as we do with Olive oil -- so much is fake.

Because focus is on ensuring repeated consumption and less on health parameters. Sadly manufacturers have realised the popularity of
#keto and are adding just that one word to their products to increase sales. No wonder consumers not educated properly fall prey to this. -
I saw a lot of keto junk food, supplements, and useless "protein powders and smoothie / shake" mixes the last time I was in a "health" food store.
