    Tsai, 62 and retired, has been supporting Han since the 2018 mayoral election. He attacked DPP for several controversial reforms, including the legalisation of same-sex marriage and the pension reform. He also criticized DPP for manipulating people’s fear of ‘losing the country.’

    62-year-old Lin joined Han Kuo-yu supporters outside KMT’s central office in Taipei.He said he's unsatisfied with the Tsai administration‘s performance in building Taiwan’s economy.“Ten years ago, I could earn more than 100,000 TWD per month while I can only earn 30,000 TWD now."

    Supporters of President Tsai Ing-wen gathered outside her campaign headquarters in Taipei. As of 17:50, Tsai has secured nearly 3 million votes and her major opponent KMT’s Han kuo-yu grabbed 2 million votes, according to TVBS.

    Taking two of his grandsons to the campaign rally, 66-year-old Mr Chou says he wants them to feel the atmosphere of democracy and freedom there. He encourages the youth to decide their own fates by casting their votes instead of leaving the matter in the hands of the old.
