Are the wifi speeds improved on the new trainsets? What's your favourite new thing?

Did 4 tests - most averaged around 3-4mbps. I’m finding that the speed varies by where we are though. I like the LCD screens - they’re making good use of them to show information

Any automated chime with the door open or close?

There’s a generic beeping when the stairs extend and detract from the train, but nothing like a TTC door chime that I heard. I’ll try and get a video

I’m decently comfortable an hour in - the seat reclines an ok amount and as a 6ft person there’s more than enough legroom. For reference, the window seat is reclined while the asile one is fully upright. Headrests are extremely comfortable though, and the tray table seems good

Any word on which spots it will be on the schedule in regular service? (This may or may not determine what time of day I head to see family at Christmas.)

From what I’ve heard, they’ll remain on Train 26 and 33 between Montreal-Ottawa Tuesdays only for the time being, until the official media launch in the new year. Definitely wait to see if that happens this week though before booking anything
