Around the world, we declare there is too much death and not enough accountability. We refuse to accept that someone’s skin should make them more susceptible to threats, abuse, and murder. It shows our strength that no matter the odds we face, we stand for what we believe in.

The first slaves came through VA's 1st District over 400 years ago yet black people couldn't vote until 55 years ago. Marching became a necessary first step but it will not be the last. It’s only as impactful as its result.
