We can't force someone to listen. This week, the Black Lives Matter movement has taken another step. These peaceful protesters have been coming out across the U.S. and around the world. Thousands of people standing in solidarity and even the unfortunate antagonizers.

Members of our society and government that may feel sympathetic, but won't be part of the change. Willing to cast a vote because they know it's right but they aren't willing to hear why that vote needs to be cast again and again.

I like to believe people know the difference between right and wrong, but that is not synonymous with learning versus willful ignorance. Voters have the ability to push the ball and start true change. A change that matters and saves lives.

We don't have enough diversity among our leaders. Understanding the varying points of view because they have lived it. We need this balance before true change can take place in our government. Perspective that leads to the evolution of our society and the end of systemic racism.

Now, join me in winning this race and let's take this to Congress. Challenge this conversation. The time for anger is becoming the time for action. We see action in our demonstrations, now let's see action in the election and let's do this in Congress.
