It is the biggest stride taken by Congress in over a decade to make the federal election system fairer and more equitable. It’s ultimate goal is to increase voter participation in elections and rid our nation of partisan gridlock. (2/8)

Not surprisingly, Congressman Rob Wittman voted against it. For 12 years now, Congressman Wittman has relied on corporate PAC money to keep his seat in Congress. He’s taken millions of dollars from the defense, banking and insurance industries. (3/8)

Rob Wittman isn’t fighting for the people of the 1st District because he’s too busy looking out for the corporations who pay to keep him in Congress. Maybe that’s why he’s only managed to pass five pieces of legislation in 12 years – one of the worst records in Congress. (5/8)
