I contacted him too. All I got was a form email AFTER the vote I wanted to talk about. He is a do-nothing congressman. I'm surprised anyone in our district even knows his name.
Vangie is intelligent, energetic and will work for the people, not the NRA or corporations.

There are service members in the 1st District who are living at the poverty line. They are using SNAP benefits and food banks to feed their families. We don’t have a military problem. We have a problem with taking care of the men and women who serve. #VA01Debate

That has always been the case but it has become worse. Take it from a military brat (late 50’s-mid 70’s), active military mid 70’s-80’s, and reserves in 90’s. If service members are deployed and their families are barely scraping by, where is their focus? Better benefits needed.
