As you may have heard, there's a big debate going on about the 3-D printing of guns. We're having a debate that's never been had and there's a lot to consider. We need to understand how our actions on this issue can have drastic consequences for generations to come.

Positive- the gun dealers that run the NRA would lose money. HUGE negative- metal detectors wouldn't pick these up, kids could print these. There would be no background checks. Gun control works - ask Australia. The US is becoming the wild west.

This is a nuanced position, if you think this is the only plan to make plastic guns or this guy is the only one who is using 3d printing to make guns we're missing the big picture. There already are youtubes alter guns. The tech is only going to evolve with 3d printing.

Temporarily banning this plan is not a long term plan on what to do about another avenue that increases illegal gun ownership. If any of you think the tech will stop with this one rudimentary faulty gun, you are naive. This has to long term consequences.

Why wasn’t this a big deal in 2013 when 3D plans become available and covered by ATF? Or folks fabricating firearms from steel and metal for the last 200 years? Or are you just parroting the
#gunsense antigun agenda of recent?
