Positive- the gun dealers that run the NRA would lose money. HUGE negative- metal detectors wouldn't pick these up, kids could print these. There would be no background checks. Gun control works - ask Australia. The US is becoming the wild west.
there's nothing to "consider". These 3D printed guns need to be stopped NOW.
This is a nuanced position, if you think this is the only plan to make plastic guns or this guy is the only one who is using 3d printing to make guns we're missing the big picture. There already are youtubes alter guns. The tech is only going to evolve with 3d printing.
Temporarily banning this plan is not a long term plan on what to do about another avenue that increases illegal gun ownership. If any of you think the tech will stop with this one rudimentary faulty gun, you are naive. This has to long term consequences.
I support 2nd amendment rights too, but there is nothing "well-regulated" about printing weapons. This cannot be normalized. We need #gunsense and #GunReformNow There is always too much talk and no action. Too many innocent lives are lost already! #Enough
Why wasn’t this a big deal in 2013 when 3D plans become available and covered by ATF? Or folks fabricating firearms from steel and metal for the last 200 years? Or are you just parroting the #gunsense antigun agenda of recent?
