I’ll say #VA01 has strong candidates. My priorities are:
1. an economy that works for everyone
2. healthy families w/access to world-class healthcare
3. Investing in our communities and hometown heroes

I’m fighting for the people. It’s not “us versus them” but “we the people.” I’m talking to all voters in the district and focusing on issues that impact us everyday.

What’s important to remember is that we need an experienced and qualified leader that will actually show up for our district. I’m running b/c the same problems we had 10 years ago are the same problems we’re experiencing now.

I am not fond of the "access to healthcare" line. Why not single payer? We all have access...

I support a Medicare-for-all, or single-payer, healthcare system with dental and vision coverage. It's important to talk about "access" b/c there are people paying for health insurance and don't live within a reasonable distance to a doctor's office or hospital.
