    This is SO important & misunderstood, even by other Jews. Judaism is a religion of ACTION. Even many traditional texts cite belief in God as only ONE of the 613 commandments, & NOT a prerequisite to fulfilling the rest. By SO many accounts Sanders DEEPLY lives his Jewishness.

    as i fell out of love with christianity years ago, i found comfort in what my MANY atheist/agnostic jewish friends kept returning me to, which is that one could celebrate high holidays (or not), not believe in god, and be no less jewish.

    It will be a beautiful thing if Bernie Sanders wins the by organizing marginalized and minority communities. Because that’s exactly how he’s going to beat Trump.

    what's happening: Sanders's campaign clearly organized satellites. (Some were on campuses; some in mosques; one for Spanish speakers; etc.) Big turnout there for only his team. Few other campaigns had presence there: Buttigieg seems totally absent. Paying major, major dividends.
