wait...I didn't listen to audio, seriously WTF there is NO legal requirement that a person have ID to be on the street.

Except police are famous for saying they had to detain the individual in order to positively ID them to check for warrants and rule out being a criminal suspect since they have no idea who they're dealing with

I thought they can't ask for id if they haven't committed a crime? Even so the violent response by the officer is insane

So was the person being arrested messing with this cops significant other? Or does this beef go back to high school when this officer was likely getting his ass beat on a regular? This dude needs to be off the force before he kills somebody

Clearly this is a pattern of behavior. He needs to be charged and fired. Ice Cube was right. He is no better than anyone else terrorizing residents. Also, where are all the good cops during incidents like this? When do they speak up?

This officer shows signs of sociopathic behavoir. He's very dangerous b/c he will eventually kill someone. Totally unacceptable conduct & he can't hide behind his badge. He's acting beyond his jurisdictional duties. He's emotionally compromised & Incompetent. He must be fired!...

It looks like an officer making a typical arrest of another unproductive Baltimore citizen that likely has no job and spend most of his day on the street with his buddies and their phones harassing the upstanding Baltimore police just hoping one of these videos gets him 'paid'

Don't do that. You don't know if this man is unemployed or if he spends his days hanging outside with friends. And if any of the aboveare true, it doesn't justify what the officer did. I'm employed & sit outside often. That shit ain't a crime.

You don't know either so don't do that to the cop. You don't know what happened before this video starts or what words were exchanged. If someone/a cop is threatened then I much rather he swing a flurry of fists than let off a barrage of bullets

And the mentality you display is equally a part of the problem. I guess the videos of Walter Scott, Antwon Rose, and Daniel Hambrick don't show the full story either. Those videos & this show an excessive use of force. Period.

I'm not familiar with those people or videos so I can't comment. Twice as many police officers have been killed in this country this year by black men as the reverse. Not reported because it doesn't fit the false narrative that was created with the Michael Brown/Ferguson lie

And by the way, this issue pertains to a black cop. Not a white cop. I never mentioned race. You did. And the false narrative about black men is a far more dangerous and long standing narrative than the one you mention re: Mike Brown.
