Valerie Plame Retweeted Senator Rand Paul

Chief Justice Roberts didn’t allow your question for a reason - outing the whistleblower is against the law. A lawmaker should know that.https://twitter.com/RandPaul/status/1222951600072859649 …

    Valerie Plame added,

    Senator Rand PaulVerified account @RandPaul
My question is not about a “whistleblower” as I have no independent information on his identity. My question is about the actions of known Obama partisans within the NSC and House staff and how they are reported to have conspired before impeachment proceedings had even begun.

You assume lawmakers care about the law — clearly Republicans do not.

Well outing a person who isn't the whistleblower might even be worse.

And then Pail left the Chamber, while the Senate trial proceeded, held a press conference, and named (allegedly) the whistleblower publicly. And then returned to the Senate floor as if nothing happened? If it is a crime, why is he not charged? He too, is apparently above the law.

asking questions about Eric Ciaramella, a partisan who hosted Ukrainian prosecutors on Jan 19, 2016, is not against any law. Law https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/50/3033 … only applies to Inspector General who hasn't identified whistleblower.

Read 50 U.S. Code § 3033(g)(3)(B) which applies to any "employee" in a position to take certain actions (like revealing the identity), not just the ICIG. Thus, Chief Justice Roberts was, indeed, following the law. And stop spreading rumors regarding the whistleblower's identity.

Rand Paul is a spineless opportunist. The whistleblower is a patriot! Whoever the person is I hope his/her identity will continue to remain private. Will Paul be arrested for his crime?
