hey @ValCanBuild, do you have any good examples of places where dagger-android is used, and you need to provide substitutions for components or modules during instrumentation testing?
Is this for replacing injected dependencies in activity or fragment tests?

Maybe activity tests later; for now, there is work kicked off in Application.onCreate that might hit the network, and hit the DB that i'd like to avoid happening when instrumentation testing.

Instrumentation testing used currently just because of heavy interactions with Android SDK. They aren't yet building or testing Activities specifically. But instead used to test classes with lots of SDK contact.
