Android Oreo has been the most underwhelming update of the lot. Spun positively, I could say that this is because Android is so great already. Negatively, I would highlight Google's decision to restrict features based on country and whether or not users have a Pixel.
To be honest I think it's more of a sign of a maturing platform. There's a lot of small quality of life improvements but no really big in-your-face features.

Not disagreeing re OS maturity. Though features like picture in picture, still haven't used once. YouTube doesn't support it if you're in the UK, but it works in the US as a premium feature. Wtf. Notification dots don't work if you're not a Pixel user with the default launcher

How can Google expect other apps to offer picture in picture (like Netflix) when YouTube doesn't offer it for most of the world? OS level feature, deliberately restricted for commercial reasons.
