Aha, that makes sense. But what if I'm using a CI machine that doesn't have Android Studio installed?

the plugin is usally picked up from jcenter maven repo (see https://bintray.com/android/android-tools/com.android.tools.build.gradle …)

Yeah, but where does it store it on the machine once it downloads it? I'm wondering whether I can manually paste it
