I've been spending a lot of time this week creating a fraud prevention system for @thankbox since there've been an increasing number of attempts to game its gift card system.
When I first saw this happening I got scared and froze. What do I do?
But then I got angry - the motivated kind. Someone thinks they can commit card fraud through the product I've poured so much energy into? Think again 
I quickly deployed a change to stop all gift card features and started working on a prevention system. It's already live and I'm monitoring and updating it. I'm additionally going to be exploring @stripe Radar to help stop these at the earliest point possible at Stripe's end.
I've built something good, something successful and you can be damn sure I will defend it to the end.
