Coinbase Pro in my opinion is the best platform. Also, pretty cheap. Check Matthew's advice for cold storage - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dt7mryC8kLQ … Matthew is the only investor I follow when it comes to crypto and stocks. It's never too late to start investing in crypto again.
I've not done any crypto investing since 2017 and I want to get back into it. What's a good, secure storage solution that's easy to set up and use? Also, I take Coinbase is the only exchange worth using now?

Hi Valentin, I would second coinbase Pro, I also use Binance which runs on Binance Smart Chain with lower fees and use their native token BNB to reduce fees further. Your tokens are held by them but you do have the option to withdraw. Trezor is a good hardware wallet.

How do hardware wallets work if you end up loosing or breaking it? Can the coins still be retrieved?

I use eToro & Binance as it has a wider range of coins - and stocks if you're in that - I also use a Ledger Nano S wallet to store my BTC & ETH
