Something that's been bugging me recently. Is it better to be a data person with a bit of business knowledge or a business person with a bit of data knowledge? Starting out as a data scientist I'd have been convinced it's the former but now I'm not sure it's not the latter.
I'd say if you are running a business it's the latter. If you are hired in a business it's the former.

That's a good distinction actually. Though I'd still argue most businesses would benefit from people who have more business knowledge than, say, machine learning expertise.
