Is it annoying to get 2 emails in a row when signing up for a service? I've just added email verification to @thankbox which means that new creators would get 2 emails when they create their first box:
- 1 for setting it up
- 1 for verifying their email
Annoying?

One thing that might help: we had email verify in our signup process, measured it for 2 weeks, and found very few fake emails, so we removed the verification process. This was one part of going from 80% dropoff to sub 10% for us. Might not apply here tho
Interesting stats! Thanks for sharing! The main reason why I added verification was because it's very easy to create an account with Thankbox (you just leave your email in the creation form, no password required) so people were getting their emails wrong.
