Is it annoying to get 2 emails in a row when signing up for a service? I've just added email verification to @thankbox which means that new creators would get 2 emails when they create their first box:
- 1 for setting it up
- 1 for verifying their email
Annoying?

Mildly annoying but I’d worry about causing confusion. If you only send one, it’ll be clearer to the user what action they need to do to progress to the next step. Or take out email verification altogether?

I can't send just one because creating your first Thankbox + setting up your account is one combined process. The "Thankbox set up" email contains instructions about using the product so adding the email verification part there would be confusing.

Another alternative could be to delay email verification by a couple of hours?
