Anyone out here played around with #Kotlin? Was thinking about building something small with it - what kind of development does it lend itself to?
Android development, backend, any sort of thing you'd originally do in Java is way better and nicer in Kotlin. Doing an Android app is a nice way to get going with it.

I've never really used it for server-side but I've heard really nice things. The language lends itself well to that use case. Javalin looks good, I'd also suggest looking at Ktor https://github.com/ktorio/ktor as Jetbrains have built it.
