I hear that Dagger-Android is dead? If so, that makes me very happy. The migration from vanilla Dagger 2 to Dagger-Android was something I regretted doing. The value of doing so was never clear, and the pain was real.
I'm experimenting with Koin at the moment. I really enjoyed dagger-android in the beginning but I don't think it ever truly realized its value
