Day 4 of #android10 update. I'm still sticking with gesture navigation. I've started unlearning reaching for the back button and have gotten better with the back gesture.
Things I like about gesture nav:
Swiping horizontally on the bottom to switch between apps.
The satisfying gesture of closing an app by swiping up. Bonus points to see it go back into its folder on the home screen.
The bigger screen space
I've just hit the upgrade button on my Pixel 2. I love that a phone I bought two years ago still gets the latest updates! I've not been paying attention to Android stuff recently. Today could get interesting if this is a big change from Android 9!
Ahh boo! Nova Launcher doesn't support gesture navigation yet. I'm not keen on the default launcher so I guess I'll be sticking with 3-button nav for a while :-/
