One benefit of iOS over android that no-one seems to mention. When you create a new screen (ViewController) you don't have to declare it in some weird manifest field in order to use it. You....just use it

The trick is that Activity is not just a ViewController, it's a process entry point. If it bothers you, you can use Fragments - or just Views, or Conductor Controllers, or Shards, I dunno
Isn't it funny how many options we have on Android while there's just the one on iOS 
Anyway, it doesn't bother me, was just making a joke about the process of each OS

The real joke is that each approach in Android has some sort of trade-off and even the new tooling just divides the community further regarding what is the right choice - hell, now we can't decide if we should be able to navigate knowing the target, the destination, or a deeplink

True. Even the new Nav Component has downsides. It seems it's a tough problem to crack to do it right
