Trying to decide whether to go for CoreData or not for my app. Never really used it for a document app before (though NSPersistentDocument is out due to needing a document bundle). Anyone any thoughts?

And also worth pointing out why I need the bundle: the app will likely need to handle other content like RTF, images, video, etc inside a document. So the idea is a document bundle with those as files and a data store for all the app-specific data

Not really used it much but could Realm be a good choice for local storage? It's supposed to be really fast

Realm is good, but it's just a data store. The benefits of CoreData are the stuff it does beyond just storing data (like undo/redo support)
